Buchfelde - Locality west of Gawler known as Buchfelde (or Buchsfelde) prior to 1918. It was renamed Loos under the Nomenclature Act of 1917 after a locality in France, a battlefield during World War 1. The name Buchfelde was restored.

•Lutheran congregation from 1852-1927. St Paul's Lutheran Church built 1863. Combined with Zion congregation (Gawler) in 1927. Church now demolished.
