MRS. W. J. LIERSCH.
The death occurred at Linga of Mrs.
W. J. Liersch, a member of the Mur
rayyille Evangelical Lutheran congre
gation. She was born in Briesen.
Germany, on September 18, 1860. With
friends she came to Australia in 1878.
arriving at Adelaide in August of the
same year. She resided in the Tan  
unda district for six years. In 1884
she went to Murtoa, Victoria, where
she married Mr. Wilhelm Johanness
Liersch, of Bengerang, in 1890. She
lived there for 16 years. With her
husband and family in 1906 she settled
in Woomelang, where she resided un
til a short time before her death. She
leaves one daughter and four sons.
