STANSBURY, August 27.-The late Mr.
Francis Hickman came out with his parents
in the ship William Mitchell in 1840 when
but 5 years old. The old people settled
in Unley, but shortly afterwards engaged
in farming at Coromandel Valley and
Clarendon. In 1873 Francis Hickman came
to Stansbury, and resided until his death
on his farm at Stansbury Park.
