MAIDMENT.— On the 3rd May, at Woodches-
ter, Josephine, relict of the late Edwin Maidment
and fourth daughter of the late Major Wunden-
berg, Imperial army, Hilderseim, Germany, aged
72 years. A colonist of 41 years.

The prospect for a good season is
brighter than it has been for many years.
Nice light showers have fallen afc close
intervals, although a much heavier downfall
is required in many places before the ground
can be turned over.
An old resident of this district — Mrs.
Maidment, passed away on Thursday last.
The deceased lady had been ailing for some
time, and had attained the ripe age of
seventy-two years. She died at the resi
dence of her daughter, Mrs. H. Harvey,
at ' Everley.'
