Mr. Geo. Hiles.
We have to announce the death of
Mi. George Hiles, at an advanctd age, which
took place at his residence, Petherton House,
last week. The deceased gentleman was well
known throughout the district. For some
time he has been feeble, and death did not
come unexpectedly. His remains were fol-
lowed from the house to the Mount Bryan
railway-station, where a van was in readiness
to receive the corpse for conveyance to Adel-
aide, to be placed in the family vault.
