OBITUARY
MR. JOHN SEMMLER.
At the age of 66 years, Mr. John Ben
jamin Semmler passed away at a private
Hospital at Liverpool last, Sunday, No
vember 9.
He is survived by a widow (Mrs. Eliza
beth Semmler) and the son (John, of
Moomboolool).
The funeral took place on Tuesday
afternoon, after a short service at Fair
field Presbyterian Church, when the re
mains were laid to rest in the Smithfield
General Cemetery.
The deceased gentleman resided in
Hamilton Road, Fairfield West, for many
years, and was well known and respected.
The late Mr. Semmler came to Fair
field West over ten years ago for health
reasons, and during that period con
stantly supplied, "The Biz" with a record
of the rainfall in that area. He was a
member of Fairfield West progress Asso
ciation, and was a faithful adherent of
the Presbyterian Church.
