DEATH OF MR. J. H. ORTLOFF
The death occurred at the Hospital
yesterday of Mr John Henry Ortloff
at the age of 85 years. Deceased
was a very old resident of Broken
Hill and the western district. He
leaves a grown-up family of three
daughters-Mesdames F. Burke, J,
H. Martin and J. H. Ferguson (Syd-
ney)-and one son-Mr. S. E. Ort-
loff of Adelaide. The funeral will
take place to-morrow (Friday), leav-
ing the residence of his daughter,
Mrs. J. H. Martin, 132 Brazil-street
off Lane-street, North Broken Hill,
at 11 a.m. The interment will be
made in the Church of England.
Cemetery. Fred J. Potter and Sons
have charge of the funeral arrange-
ments. Mrs Ortloff died on June 7
last.
