Mrs. Augusta Roberts, who died recently,
was the widow of Mr. Simon Roberts, of
Orroroo, and one of the early pioneers of
the Orroroo district. She was in her
86th year, and was a colonist of over
70 years. Mr. Roberts died 12 years ago.
After his death Mrs. Roberts went to re-
side with her daughter, Mrs. W. Martin,
at Farrell's Fiat. She was twice married,
her former husband having been the late
Mr. H. Dreyer, of Burra. She leaves
one son and six daughters— Mr. Charles
Dreyer (Orroroo), Mesdames W. Martin
(Favrell's Flat). F. Coulter (Wilmington),
J. O'Donuell (Western Australia). N.
MacDonald (Peterborough), G. Cooper
(T'asmania), and H. Nelson (Marion Bay).
There are 33 grandchildren and 11 great
grandchildren. Mr. Albert Brandt, of    
Burra, is a brother or the deceased.
