and Rose (deceased), aged 74 years.

Mr. E. G. Ludewigs

Mr Elisha Gustave Ludewigs,    
who. died at Cudlee Creek Recently,
was born in 1867, and was a son of
Gustave Ludewigs who founded  
and named Belair He was edu-
cated at Kersbrook school In 1896
he married Zellie Banks, of Hol-
lands Creek, and later purchased
a property from the South Aus-
tralian Company Mr. Ludewigs
was a fine athlete. He is survived
by a widow, four daughters – Mes-
dames E. Gallas, A. Nagel (Cudlee
Creek), H. Whimpress (Kersbrook),
M. Stone (Paracombe) — and two
sons — E. R. and R. M Ludewigs
(Cudlee Creek).
