THE LATE MR. O. J. WALKERDEN
The funeral of the late Mr. Ormond James
Walkerden, of 59 Lawlerrstreet. Subiaco,
took place in the Presbyterian portion of the
Karrakatta Cemetery on Thursday afternoon
last, the 22nd inst., in the presence of a
large gathering of friends. The chief mourners
were: Mrs. Lydia Walkerden (widow), Mr.
Harry Walkerden (brother). Mi*. M. Harris
(sister-in-law). Val and Geoffrey Harris (ne
phews), and Mrs. F. M. Walkerden (aunt).
The pall-bearers were: Messrs. G. Ball. F.
H. McCausland. E. A. Hinohliffe, N. Little,
J. Letts and M. Allen- Among those- pre
sent were: Messrs. G. L. Davidson, H. Far
mer, G. R. Hammer, R. J. Robbing, J. A.
Beck, P. W. Miller, F. Gray, Walmeley, G.
Bowen. N. Turnbull. Meedamen A. Ballinger,
Hannan, Mclntyre, R. Goers, Williams, Hines,
and Miller, and Miss Little. Many wreaths
and floral tributes were received. The Rev.
H. H. Fennell conducted the service at the
cemetery.
The funeral arrangements were carried out
by Messrs. Donald J. Chipper and Son.

formed that his remains will be interred in
the Presbyterian portion of the Karrakatta Ceme
tery, at 2.20 o'clock THIS (Thursday) AFTER
NOON. The Cortege will move from Messrs.
Donald J. Chipper and Son's Service Chapel.

o'clock. Friends wishing to attend the Fune-
ral may proceed by the 2.5 o'clock train from
Perth.
