81422KELM.-After a lengthy period of
ill-health, the death occurred at the
Horsham Base Hospital on Wednesday
of Mr. Johann Richard Max Kelm of
Minyip, at the age of 56 years. A
native of Berlin, Germany, deceased
arrived in Victoria with his parents
at the age of two years. He was mar-
ried at Horsham to Miss Emma A.
Knonagel, who survives him, and there
is a grown-up family, viz., David,
William, Dorothy, Lindna (Caven-
dish), Gustav, Edna, Anna and Allen.
He was well known and esteemed
throughout the district and his pass-
ing will be regretted by a wide circle.
The funeral took placee at the Green
Lake Cemetery yesterday afternoon
and was well attended. The Rev. S
Darsow, of the Lutheran Church of
Minyip read the service at the church
and also at the graveside. The coffin
bearers were- Messrs., D. Kelm. W.
Kelm, G. Kelm, A. Lerisch and R.
Sherman. The arrangements were
carried but by Mr. E. H. Bye.
