Man Shot Dead at River
Murray SettlementRENMARK, Wednesday. - Robert
Teschner was found shot dead today in
a house occupied by Samuel Taylor at
Chaffey settlement. The coroner (Mr.
T. Spurling) is awaiting a police report
before deciding about an inquest.
Teschner was a member of an old
river family, his relatives all having
been early-day stockmen. It is reported
that Teschner had not been well for
some time.

RENMARK, November 6.
Robert E. S.
Teschner, 50. a single
men, living at the home of his sister.
Mrs. Deborah M. Taylor, at Chaffey,
was found shot dead early this morn-
ing. Other occupants of the house,
Mrs. Taylor, her husband, Mr. S. Tay -
lot, and a niece, heard the report of
a shot gun and found
Teschner dead
In his room.
Mounted Constable Shard prepared
a report for the Coroner (Mr. T. S.
Spurting), who deemed an inquest un-
necessary.
It is stated that Dr. G. D. Harris,
who examined the body, told the
police that he had been treating Tesch-
ner for nerves and melancholia.
