field, by Rev. H. Hartley. Hermann Richard, second
son of Henry Imhoff, Germany, to Emily Jane,
fourth daughter of Mr. William Collins, of Redbanks.

84909CRUSHED BY A WAGGON.
Mr. Frederick Richard Imhoff, of
Verran, was accompanying his son to
take up hie residence on a new block
in the Hundred of Pygery. They
were travelling by road to their home at
Verran, and when about 18 miles east of
Kyancutta the team of eight horses at-
tached to a waggon became startled by a
loud clap of thunder. Mr. Imhoff, who
was driving, was jolted off the shafts, and
the wheel passed ever his neck and lower
portion of the face. Death was instan-
taneous. The son, Mr. Fred Imhoff, having
regained control of the horses, returned to
where his father was lying and after put-
ting the body on the waggon, continued his
journey to Kyancutta, where he was
assisted by Messrs. Turner and Golds-
worthy. An enquiry was held by Mr. J.
A. O'Loghlin, and an inquest was deemed
unnecessary.
