OBITUARY
LATE JOHN BEANSCH.
The funeral of the late Mr. John Frederick
William Baensch, of Freshwater
Creek, took place last Wednesday after-
noon, his remains being laid to rest in
the family grave in the Puebla cemetery
in the presence of a large number of per-
sonal friends. The cortege left the residence
of bis brother (Mr. Charles Baensch,
"Hill View,'' Bellbrae). It comprised the
glass casket hearse, followed by a number
of motor cars and other vehicles. The
casket was borne from the hearse to the
grave by Messrs. C. and F. Baensch (brothers),
s), L. and F. - Imer (nephews). The
following supported the purple pall: Messrs
G. Hunter, W. Seiffert, A. Seiffert, J-
Smith, M. Froorman, H. Seiffert, H. Leibhardt,
G. Leach, S. Seiffert, and J. F.
Seiffert. Pastor Heinrich Hoffman, of the
Lutheran Church, Grovedale, conducted a
very impressive service at the home prior
to leaving, and also at the graveside. The
mortuary arrangement were carried out
by Mr. Alex. Monto, funeral director, of
Ryrie Street.
