90048Mrs. Ida Johanna Eulenstein, relict
of the late Mr. Albert Eulenstein, died
at Henty, aged 79 years. She was
born at Birdwood, and came to Walla
in 1868, and was married there in
1879. Later Mr. and Mrs. Eulenstein
took up residence on the property then
known as 'Three Hills,' and now
part ' of Mr. - W. J. Scott 's property,
known as 'Elgin,' Munyabla. In
1892 they took up a property at Back
Creek, near Henty. Mr. Eulenstein
died in 1912. For the past five years
Mrs. Eulenstein resided with her sons,
Amandus and Edgar at Henty. She is
survived by six sons — Messrs. A. W.
F., R. O., Amandus, Edgar (Henty)
Eric (Newcastle) and Leopold; four
daughters — Mrs. W. Wiese (Windsor,
N.S.W.), Mrs. W. F. Hughes (Wagga),
Mrs. H. A. Brown, Miss Laura Eulen-
stein (Henty); four brothers — Messrs.
Robert, Charles, Frank and Adolph
Piltz; and five sisters — Mrs. J. S. G.
Hoffmann (Walla), Mrs. Semler (Gil-
gandra), Mrs. Newell (Yerong Creek),
Mrs. Voss (Walla), and Mrs. W. Lange
(Wodonga). Two brothers and one
sister predeceased her.
