Pte. Percy Thiele, Nuriootpa, was
killed in action in New Guinea on
Dec. 8, according to advice received
by his mother, Mrs C. W. Heidrich,
Rowlands Flat. Percy, whose bro-
ther Roy is also serving, was a fine
type of young man. He enlisted
about September, 1940, and served
with the AIF in Syria.

lit sky; that's where our dearest
brother lies, and though he wasn't
here to see victory won, no one
knows a greater deed he could have
done was to help bring peace to
