KRANZ— MANNING.
At the Wirrabara Methodist Church on Wed-
nesday afternoon, August 22, the marriage was
celebrated by the Rev. C. B. Holmes, of Wil-
liam Gordon Cornelius Kranz and Freda Man
ning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Manning,
of Denford, Wirrabara. Miss Mavis Lewis pre
sided at the organ and played the 'Wedding
March.' The bride, who was given away by
her father, wore a frock of white georgette
and silver lace, the bodice being rucked at the
waist. The veil was arranged cap fashion, and
held in place by a bandeau of orange blossom.
A bouquet of white flowers, with ribbon
streamers was carried. The bridesmaids, Miss
Marion Wilkins and Miss Alma Kranz, were
frocked alike in powder-blue georgette with
apricot posy on shoulder, and carried bouquets
to match. Bandeaus of silver leaves and tiny
apricot flowers were also worn. The little
flower girl . (Dorothy Kranz) was frocked in
pale-pink crepe de chine, and carried a basket
of delicate pink flowers. Mr. Harold Osborn
was best man, and Mr. Albert Kranz grooms
man. The wedding breakfast was held at Den-
fold the residence of the bride's parents. Mrs.
F. D. Manning (mother of the bride) was
frocked in navy-blue silk marocain, and wore
a hat of bois de rose velvet. She carried a posy
of voilets. Mrs. C. A. Kranz (bridegroom's
mother) wore a frock of black silk marocain
with a black silk hat, and carried a bouquet of
autumn coloured flowers. The bride's travel
ling frock was a smart tailored suit, worn with
a fawn felt hat having green and black felt in
set. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kranz motored to
Victor Harbour for their honeymoon.
