THE LATE MRS. EVERARD.
On Monday Mrs. Charlotte Everard
Everard, widow of Mr. Charles John
Everard, died at her residence, Marshfield,  
Keswick, at the age of 86 years. Mr.
Everard was one of the pioneers, having    
arrived in South Australia in 1836 on the  
Africaine with his father, the late Dr. C. G.
Everard, and brother, the late Mr. W.  
Everard. After the death of his first wife  
Mr. Charles Everard went back to England
and was married to his cousin. They came
to South Australia in 1855, and lived near
the Bay-road at Keswick, where Mr.
Everard died 22 years ago. Mrs. Edwin  
Lucy, of Hindmarsh, is a daughter of Mr.
Everard by his first wife, and the members
of the second family are Mr. W. F.,  
Everard, of Malvern, and the Misses. Kate,  
and Rose Everard, of Keswick. There are  
also nine grandchildren and five great-  
grandchildren.
