KNIGHT.— On the 2nd. April, at her son's resi-
dence, Frith, Mary Ann Ellen, wife of the late
John Knight, and dearly beloved mother, of W.  
C. Knight, leaving 1 son; 1 grandchild, and 3
great-grandchildren, aged 84 years. Resident of
Balaklava for 55 years, and -colonist of 74 years.

If God's loving arms hath, taken,
Taken what we held most dear.
We will trust Him with our darling mother,
She is happier there than here.

A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home
That never can be filled.
