ROSEWORTHY. January l8.-Deep re-
gret was expresseel throughout the district
last night when it became known that Mr.
Thomas
Flett had died suddenly after
three days' illness. He was the eldest son
of the late Mr.
Robert Flett, who started
forming here over 50 years ago on arriving,
from Kirkwell, Scotland, with his family of
two sons and two daughters, of whom the
youngest daughter survives. The deceased
was unmarried, and over 71 years of agc.
The funeral was largely attended on Satur-
day at the Willaston Cemetery. The Rev.
W. Gray (Presbyterian) officiated at the
Grave.
