The death occurred at Broken Hill
on March 13th of an old and esteemed
resident of Redruth, Burra, in the
person of Mrs, Augusta Henrietta
Hirschausen. The deceased lady
who was in her 94th year was the
widow of. the. late William Hirschausen
late of Burra. She leaves
quite a number of decendants. Her
family comprised 13 children, eight
of whom survive, namely Messrs L.
and T. Hirschausen and Mrs. H. Wahlert
of Adelaide; Mr. F. Hirschausen,
Broken Hill; Mrs. J. G. Dreyer Griffiths, NSW
Messrs H. and A. Hirschausen
and Mrs. W. Carpenter
sen., ofRedruth, Burra. There are 60 grand children, 46
great grandchildren and a number of great great
children. She was a colonist of 80 years.
