Mr Albert James Conzner.
Great regret was expressed at the
death of Mr Albert James Couzner,
who passed away at his residence, Ka
dina East, on July 30. He was born
at Golden Grove, near Modbury, S.A.,
in 1864, and was the second son of the
late Mr and Mrs Alfred Couzner, who
with their family moved to Green's
Plains East, now Paskeville, in 1873.
Mr Albert Couzner was farming in the
district the greater part of his life, be-
ing interested in all land activities. In .
1900 he married Miss Anna E. Smith,
of Golden Grove. The previous year
he purchased the farm known as
"Wattle Vale," near Paskeville, where
he lived until retiring to Kadina in
1938. His wife predeceased him in
1937. Mr Couzner was an upright
citizen of genial disposition, and his
wealth of understanding and good fel-
lowship earned him the admiration
and affection of alt witsh whom he
came in contact. He will be greatly
missed by his family and his friends.
Surviving him are Miss S. Couzner,
Mrs Owen March (nee Miss Edith
Couzner), and grandsons Reg and Al-
bert, all of Kadina.
