Mr. J. A. Couzner
Mr. John Alfred Couzner. of War-
racknabeal, Victoria, who died on
April 26. was born at Golden Grove
80 years ago. ' He was the eldest son
of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Couz-
ner, who with their family took up
land at Green's Plains East (now
Paskevillej, in 1873 Later, Mr. John
Couzner went to Minlaton, where he
married Miss Jane Bennett, and in
1892 went to Bangerang, Victoria,
where he farmed for three years,
thence to a property at Angip until
1938. Mrs. Couzner, three sons,
Messrs. Fred, Allan and Victor, and
four daughters, Mrs. C. Atkin, Miss
Hilda Couzner, Mrs. M. Murphy (Vic),
and Mrs. J. Gilmour (W.A.) survive.
