dence (Mr. Robert Clisby), No. 19 Mackinnon
parade, North Adelaide, Anne, relict of Redford
Clisby, aged 82 years.

In Memoriam.
MRS. R. CLISBY
was born at Somerset, England, in
1839, and thus passed away at the
advanced age of eighty-two years. She
was married to Redford Clisby (who
predeceased her) at Portland Bay, on
December 10, 1856. She came to Nairne
from Melbourne sixty-two years ago,
where she was converted under the
ministry of the Rev. Thos. Lloyd. When
she first came to Adelaide she attended
Archer Street and was a member of the
class meeting. There are nine surviving
children, five sons and four daughters,;
viz.:- William, Bedford, Robert,
Albert, Herbert, and Mrs. Brenton
(Plympton), Mrs. Naughter (Prospect),
Mrs. Taylor (Prospect), Mrs. Cragie
(Medindie). She died triumphantly,
with her loved ones singing the hymns
she loved. In her life were exemplified
those Christian graces of faith and love
which make a woman a true Christian
and mother. She was the central figure
of the family, and although her children
had all reached mature years, they
continued to look to her as their guide
and example. The Rev. S. Forsyth conducted
an In Memoriam in Melbourne
