FATAL ACCIDENT.—A German farmer named Stanilaus
Schemanski was killed last week through having fallen from
his dray, one of the wheel of, which passed over his head
and shoulders.
At an inquest held on the body
by Dr B.Dean. J. P., on Saturday last, a verdict of accidental deathwas immediately returnedby the jury

98665Fatal ACCIDENT.-We regret to state that a
German settler named Stanilaus Schemanski, was acci-
dentally killed: on Wednesday, the 24th ult., under the fol=
lowing circumstances:- He was driving a team and dray
near Tanunda, where he resided, when some part of the
tackling got loose and while he w
as in the act of fixing itthe bollocks ran away and knocked him down. The draywheel passed over his neck and caused death almost imme-diately. An inquest on the ody was held on Saturday be-fore Dr. H. Dean, JP., when a verdict was returned in ac-cordance with the above facts.
