By the death of Mr. Edward Daniel Swaffer at his home at Lovers'
Lane, on Tuesday night, Port Lincoln lost one of its most respected
citizens, and Eyre Peninsula its oldest native-born resident. He would
have been 88 years old had he lived until December 12 next.
