Mrs. Ruth Hounsome Maley, widow
of the late Mr. John Maley, of Ade-
laide, died at her residence, Port Ade-
laide, on Monday, the 18th inst., aged
77 years. Mrs. Maley was an old colo-
nist, having arrived at Port Adelaide in
the Buckinghamshire with her parents
in 1838. Eight children survive, in-
cluding Mr. Wesley Maley, M.L.C., of
Hounsome, and Mrs. Wm. Donnan, of
Tammin, while the Rev. Milton Maley
is a grandson.
