Mr. Clement Edward Jones, 56,

who died suddenly at his home at
Wild Horse Plains recently, was
the third son of the late Alfred
and Janet Jones. He was born
at Wild Horse Plains, and lived in
the district all his life, where he
conducted a mixed farming and
grazing property. He married Miss
Ivy May Lovelock, younger daugh-
ter of the late Richard and Ann
Lovelock of Yankalilla. Mr.
Jones was a councillor for Inker-
man ward in the Port Wakefield
District Council for three years,
and represented the ward at the
time of his death. He was also
a member of the hospital board
of the Port Wakefield District
Hospital and vice-president of the
institute committee at Wild Horse
Plains. He is survived by a
widow and two daughters, Misses
Wendie and Dawn Jones.
