Pioneer Drops Dead
in Street
Aiawoona, Sept. 30.
At 9 a.m.. on Saturday. September
21, a pioneer of the Alawoona district
dropped dead in the street at Alawoona
on her way to record her vote at the
polling: booth.
She was Mrs. Anna Miria Finey,
aged 72 years, widow of Stephen Finey,
retired farmer, who died last May.
Mounted Constable Chard, of Ala
woona, made the necessary inquiries
and furnished a report to the coroner
(Mr, T, W. D. Willson, J.P.) who deem
ed un inquest unnecessary.
