DEATHS.
EMROSE. — On the 25th September, at his resi-
dence, East-street, Brompton, after a long illness,
Joseph, the beloved husband of Mary Emrose, aged
63 years. R.I.P.

The Late Mr. Joseph Emrose.
The funeral of the late Mr. Joseph Emrose,
of Brompton, an old colonist, took place at the
West-terrace Cemetery on Sunday afternoon.
The service at the grave was conducted by the
Rev. Mr. Howard. A good number of per
sons, including some old colonists, attended.
The relatives present were Mrs. Emrose
(wife), Messrs. H. Emrose and T. Emrose
(sons), Misses Emrose (daughters), Mrs.
Hermann (sister-m-law), Messrs. H. Schmidt
and Foster (nephews), Mesdames Fife and
Foster, and Miss Rettigg (nieces) The funeral
arrangements were carried out by Mr. M. H.
Elliott.
