HEART FAILURE VERDICT IN
BLANCHETOWN INQUEST
Inquest Into the death of Adolph
Gustav Heinzel, wood contractor,
Wunkar, was opened at Truro on
June 24, as adjourned from May
1. Mr E. D. McPhee presided and
found that deceased met his death
near Blanchetown on April 30 last,
when he was a passenger in a mo-
tor buckboard driven by Mr Ern-
est Hermann Heinrich, of Wunkar,
and the vehicle came into collision
with a motor truck driven by Mr
Herbert Johannes Steiner, Truro.
Death was due to heart failure,
following injuries. Mr McPhee
found that Mr Heinrich's driving
was negligent, hut insufficiently so
to call for further action. Mr Mar-
tin appeared for the estate of Mr
Heinzel, who was a married mail
aged 61, with four children. Mr
R. Newman appeared for Mr Hein-
rich; Mr V. R. Millhouse for Mr
Steinerl: and Insp. Bonython for
the Police. Statements and report
were furnished by MC Schwerdt,
Blanchetown.
