MR. I. TEAKLE
Mr. Isaac Teakle, who died at his
residence, Crystal Brook, on March 8,
at the age of 74, was born at Findon.
In 1878 he married Miss E. Tilbrook,
of Mount Barker Springs, who died in
1884. He followed agricultural pur-
suits at Mount Barker, Noarlunga,
and Gulnare. and for the nast 20
years had lived in retirement at Crys
tal Brook. In 1886 he married Miss
G. Venning, of Crystal Brook, who
died in March, 1923. He was an ac-
tive Methodist Church worker. He
was a local preacher for over 50 years,
and for many years was superintendent
of the Gulnare Sunday-school. He
was a member of the Crystal Brook
Bowling Club and of the Crystal Brook
Masonic Lodge. There were three chil-
dren of the first marriage, and two
survive. They are Mrs. R. F. Hillman,
of Barwell-avenue, Galway Gardens,
and Mr. J. H. Teakle, of Gulnare.
There are eight grandchildren living.
