The death occurred recently of Mr William Burner, of the hundred of Goode, who had been engaged in farming on the Far West Coast for over 40years. Mr Burner was born at Edwardstown in 1860 and learned his trade as a mason in Adelaide. He married Anne, the eldest daughter of Mr J Edwards, of Brighton and Port Rickaby, Yorke Peninsula, in 1882. Deciding to take up farming Mr Burner travelled to Fowlers Bay about 40 years ago and after remaining in that district for seven years, settled in the Hundred of Goode, where he was until his death. He leaves a widow and three sons.
