OBITUARY.
Mrs. Henry Shipway, of Burra who
died on July 9 at Nackara, was born at
Myponga in 1853. In 1874 she married
Mr. Richard Evans, of Koolunga, and
later went to Oodla Wirra to reside, remaining in that district for about 30 years. Her first husband died in 1898 and in 1903 she married Mr. Henry Shipway. About eight years ago they went to Kooringa, where Mrs. Shipway lived for the rest of her life. She left a widower, five sons, (Mr. Geo. Evans of Kooringa; Mr. W Evans, Oodla Wirra; and Messrs. Harold, Les and Bert Evans of ???
four daughters (Mesdames W J Fitzgerald, Booborowie; F Cornfoot, F and O Mercer of Cockburn) 29 grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.
