THE LATE MR. AND MRS. F.C. DUNOWThe recent leath at Tumby Bay ofElizabeth Mary Dunow, was followed suddenly by the death of her hus-band, Frederick Charles Dunow.Mr. Dunow, who was 83, and Mrs.Dunow, 81, were old residents of theTumby Bay district, having arrivedhere in November 1904.Mr. Durfbw farmed in differentparts of the district until 1919 whenthey went to Port Broughton for afew years, then to Port Wakefield.In January 1944, Mr. and Mrs.Dunow decided to return to TumbyBay.Mr. Dunow was the second son ofthe late Frederick John Dunow, whocame to Australia with his parentsin the early 1840's, and who settledin the Whitwarta district near Bala-klava.Mrs. Dunow was the younger childof the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hous-ton, who came to Australia as ayoung married couple in 1865, andsettled in the Nantawarra district.Both Mr. and Mrs. Dunow wereactive members of the MethodistChurch until recent years, when fail-ing health and advancing age pre-vented their attendance. They aresurvived by one son, two daughters10 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren
