1t is with extreme regret we chronicle
the death of a very old refident of the
district in the person of Elizabeth
Paul Treloar at the ripe old age of 80 vears
The deceased lady died at the residence of
her son, 3r. Harry Treloar, about mid-dav
vesterday. The late Mrs. Tretoar had
been a resident of the distriet for the past
88 years, ber husband, the late Mr. Wil-
Treloat, being murdered by a black
ot the Freshwater Lagoons many vears
аgо. An elderly family of five are left to
mourn the loss of their mother. The
children are Mrs. W. H, Muuro, of Glad-
stone, and Nirs. Millard, aud Messrs. H.
J. and T. Trelaar, of Hampden. Mrs.
Millard just returned from the south by the
Bingera yesterday, but was in town at the
time of her mother's death., The funeral
takes place to-day, the cortege being ex-
pected to reach Mandaranna Cemetery
about 2 p.m.
