18208OBITUARYMr W. R. SemmlerThe late Mr Wilhelm Reinhold Senimler. 77, was bornat Greenock on Nov 28, 1875,being- son of Mr and Mrs J.C. A. Senimler. He was baptised at Nain by late PastorJ. C. Auricht on Dec. 19,1875, and confirmed by himon Nov. 10, 1889. Mr Semmler and Anna Elizabeth Riebke were married by PastorDicier at Stonefield on Sept.26, 1907, and of their 11 children, the youngest died ininfancy and was buried withher motlier, who died on Doc.29, 1926. The family lived atStonefield for 21 years, andin the trials and hard workcalled for, were maintainedby faith. Some of the children had to walk more than 5miles each way to school daily. As the children grew up,Lights Pass seemed to offergreater opportunity, and only during the last few yearsMr Senimler made his homein Nuriootpa. His life was astory of courage, cheerfulness and faithful service tohis family. He was a faithful member of Lights PassChurch. In addition to thechildren there remain a sister, brother and step-brother. The family comprises Otj to, Vine Vale; Freda, Adelaide; Max, Nuriootpa; Tillie(MrsAY. Sporn), Lights Pa:>.;Ben, Nuriootpa; Nita (MrsGrundy), Adelaide; Percy,Adelaide; Melva (Mrs LeuSchmidt) Pt. Germein; Aleckof Stockvrell; and Rudolph,Adelaide. Rev. R. B. Reuther ministered at the funeral,at Stonefield; bearer's beingMessrs A. B. Kurtz, R. Dittrich, Ben Gerlach and PaulSchmidt.
