Mrs. Carl Spaeth, 53 Years a
Tanunda Resident, Dies Aged
62, at Woodville Estate
Mrs. Lydia Ernstina Spaeth, 62, wife
of Mr. Carl Spaeth, Woodville Estate,
and for 53 years a resident of Tan-
unda, died in her sleep on Wednesday
after nine years illness. The funeral
took place in Cheltenham cemetery to-
day, Rev. Evans, of Kilkenny Congre
gational Church officiating. Born on
January 20, 1875, at Langmeil, she
was the eldest daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. G. Auricht. In 1896 she mar-
ried Carl, second son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Carl Spaeth, Tannnda, who
survives with a family of three sons:
Edwin (Woodville), Harold (Tanunda)
and Bert (Berri). Mr. Aug. Auricht
(Bilyarra). is the only brother, sisters
being Mrs. Ben Lindner (Kabminye)
and Mrs. August Kaesler (Bilyarra).
The late Mrs. Spaeth-was widely known
for her quiet, affectionate disposition;
community regard being evidenced in
tire large number of floral tributes laid
on the grave.
