The interment of the late Mrs. A.
Schilg last Friday in the St. John's
cemetery was largely attended. Rev.
Ph. F. Rudolph officiated at the grave
side. The deceased, who was born in
South Australia 78 years ago, came to
New South Wales in 1885, and has
lived in Jindera nearly 46 years. Her
husband pre-deceased her nine years
ago. She leaves a family of seven
sons: Walter, Arthur and Herbert
(Jindera), William, and Ernest (Bur=
rumbuttock); Albert (Goombargana),
Ewald (Rand), and two daughters:
Mrs. A. Westendorf and Mrs. E. Kohn
(Jindera). There are 37 grandchildren
and two great-grand children. Mrs.
Schilg has often been described as
the "hardest working woman in the
district." Since the death of her hus-
band she has lived with her youngest
daughter, Mrs. B. Kohn, where she has
received every care and attention un
til her death which occurred last Thurs
day.
