ALFRED . GEORGE HENSCHKE
Bookpumong, December
The death occurred recently in the Mil-
dura hospital of Alfred George Henschke.
The deceased, who was born at Flaxman’s
Valley 62 years ago, was a pioneer far
mer of the Loxton district at Bookpur
nong and later at Lyrup, and had lived
the last twelve months at Meringur (Vic
toria) where he was engaged as a car
rier. Mr. Henschke was a member of
the Loxtcn District Council when first
formed, and also a member of the Loxton
Vermin Board. He is survived by his
wile and nine children, four sons and
five daughters and also by his aged
mother. Two of the daughters. Mes-
dames Muller and Goulding, live in South
Australia.
