AMPT : Mrs. Caroline
Emma Ampt, of Gymbowen,
who died in the Wimmera
Base Hospital on Monday,
was buried in the Natimnuk
Cemetery on Tuesday fol
lowing a service conducted
by Pastor J.F. Noak at the
Natimuk Lutlheran Church.
The service at the grave
side was conducted by Pas
tor W. J. Hoopmann. Coffin
bearers were Messrs. Ray
Ampt, Dick Haebich, Eric,
Harold and Alan Werner and
Bert Moller.
The late Mrs. Ampt. was
68. She was the fourth
daughter of the the Mr. and
Mrs. Johann Heinrich Aug
ust Werner, of Natimuk.
In 1910 she was married
to Mr. Edward Wilhelm
Ampt, of Gymbowen. She
was a faithful member of
the Lutheran Church. Work
in church activities was the
greatest interest in her life.
Children who survive her
are Louis (Horsham), Nor-
man (Gymbowen), Wallace
(Mt. Gambler), Cyril (Gym-
bowen) and Gilbert (Gym-
bowen). A daughter Agatha
(Mrs. Douglas McClure) of
Tooan) is deceased.
