The late Mr. Johannes
Edwin I.offler, 37, was horn
at Neales Flat on June 30,
1914, being second son of
Mr and Mrs J. P. Loffler.
He was baptised by late Pas-
tor Hossfeldt on August 22,
1914, and confirmed by Pas-
tor T. Renner on Nov. 25,
1928. He was a faithful ad-
herent of St. Pauls-, Neales
Flat during his lifetime. He
worked on his father's farm
for l6 years, and married
Miss Jean Dorothy Plitzner
on Sept. 2, 1914, whereafter
the couple lived on the home-
stead property. He was a
keen stock breeder and the
Clydesdales bred by him and
his brother took many prizes
at the Royal and country
shows. After being in indif-
ferent health for some years,
Mr Loffler passed suddenly
on October 1. Left with his
parents and Mrs Loffler are
four brothers and two sist-
ers: Arthur, Monarto South;
Hilda (Mrs Hammerling), of
Bridgewater; Rev. Leonard,
Henty, NSW; Arnold, Ang-
aston; Clem, Neales Flat;
and Audrey (Mrs L. Hensch-
ke), Mocuita. Rev. T. Ren-
