MAN KILLED IN SMASH.
Herman Kirschlager, 56, green-
grocer, of York Street, Katoomba,
was killed last night when his
motor truck struck a light pole
on the Western Road, St. Mary’s.
The body was taken to Penrith
Hospital.

FUNERAL OF MR. KIRSCHLAGER
The funeral of the late Mr. Herman
Kirschlager, who met his death so
tragically last, week, took place last
Saturday afternoon. After a service
at Wood CoffiU's chapel, the cortege
proceeded to Katoomba Cemetery,
where he was buried in the Congrega-
tional section.
Besides his relatives, many of his
personal and business friends attend
ed to pay their last respects to one
who was well-liked by all who knew
him — and numerous wreaths were
sent.
Rev. C. J. Eeese officiated at the
services.
