Re THOMAS BENNETT, Esq., Deceased.

Pursuant to the Act of Parliament of the 22nd and 23rd
Queen Victoria, cap. 35, intituled "An Act to further
amend the Law of Property, and to relieve Trustees."
NOTICE is hereby given, that all persons having any
claims or demands against or affecting the estate of
Thomas Bennett, formerly of Mitcheldean, in the county of
Gloucester, Maltster and Corn Dealer, and at the time of
his decease a Colliery Proprietor in the Forest of Dean, and
a Landowner in the several counties of Gloucester, Hereford,
and Monmouth, and whose will, with two codicils thereto,
was proved in the District Registry of the Court of Probate
at Hereford, on the 18th day of January, 1862 (owing to
the testator's having had a fixed place of abode at Hope
Mansell, in the said county of Hereford, at the time of his
death), by the undersigned Francis Hamp Adams, of Upton
Bishop, in the county of Hereford, Gentleman, and Cornelius
Brain, of the Quabbs House, near Mitcheldean aforesaid,
Colliery Proprietor, the executors and trustees therein
named, are hereby required to send to one or both of such
executors, on or before the 1st day of January next, the
particulars of their claims or demands, at the expiration of
which time the said executors will feel at liberty to exercise
their authority to transfer the residuary real and personal
estate of the testator to William Bennett Jones, of Hope
Mansell aforesaid, Farmer, the residuary legatee named
in the said will, having regard to the claims or demands only
of which they shall have had notice; and that the said
executors will not be liable for any debt or claim of which
they shall not have received notice.—Dated this 30th day
of August, 1866.
