Jane Walters, alias Lancaster, alias Smith, has been
committed to take her trial by the Mudgee Bench for
having unlawfully intermarried with one Smith, her
previous husband, William Lancaster, being then alive.
The prisoner was married about two years ago to Lan
caster, a prisoner in Darlinghurst, under a sentence for
forgery, and who was produced in court under a writ
of habeas corpus.
