Mr. Vincent Stanway Holthouse, who
died at Oldham. near Manchester,
England, was the seventh son of the
late Mr. Edward Holthouse, of Sema-
phore. He was at Oldham for many
years, and had interests in some of
the large cotton mills. At one time
Mr. Holthouse was a councillor at
Semaphore. A sister and brother, both
of Semaphore, survive.
