These pages detail the ancestors of my wife's maternal  great grandparents James Benjamin Stephens and Jane Elizabeth Pharo.  It also summarizes the descendants of various families related to JBS and JEP who emigrated from various parts of the UK to Australia in the period 1853-1885.


William Thomas Bennett Stephens and family arrived on the South Sea in 1853.


Ellen Webber and family arrived on the Tudor in 1857.


Jane Elizabeth Pharo and family arrived on the Bombay in 1885.


The listing of descendants has generally been truncated to place a finite limit on the document and avoid some of the concerns of those now living.
