The Pauline of 500 tons was owned by Friedrich Meyer and Co of Bremen.

Under the command of captain Lüder Stelljes the Pauline made  three voyages to South Australia.  The first arriving in Port Adelaide on 27 Sep 1846.  She made a second voyage leaving Bremen on 21 Nov 1847 and berthing in Port Adelaide on 31 Mar 1848.  Her third voyage departed Bremen on 24 Aug 1849 and arrived in Port Adelaide on 9 Dec 1849.

The Pauline made several further trips to Australia in the period to 1857.

THE "Pauline." from Bremen,; 17th June, arrived on Sunday, after a remarkahly fine passage of 101 days; she brings German papers (with a few of which we haye been kindly favoured) up to 13th June, giving London news to 9th June.
