Alwine M., beloved wife of C. A. Klose, of
Lobethal, aged 66 years. At home with the

3395Mrs. Alwina Marie Klose, 66. who
died at her home. Lobethal, on June
16, was born at Angaston, being the
eldest daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. J. G. Blesing and first cousin to
the Minister of Agriculture (Mr. Ble
sing). In 1893 she was married to Mr.
C. A. Klose. The couple first resided
at Blumberg (now Birdwood), where
they became engaged in business as
general storekeepers for nine years,
subsequently conducting business in a
similar capacity at Lobethal until five
years ago. when they retired and trans
ferred the business over to Mr. B.
Klose (son) and Mr. W. Jantke (son
in-law). The surviving members of
the family, besides her husband, are:
Messrs. Benno Walter, Eric, Stanley,
Reginald (Lobethal), and Victor
(Hahndorf), Mrs. W. Jancke. Mrs.
Hugo Gerhardy. and Mrs. Syd Graeber
(Lobethal)
