Hospital on February 12 of Nor-
bert Theodore ('Bob') Klose, at the
age of 30. Mr. Klose. who had been
in indifferent
health for some
time, was the
third son of Mr.
and Mrs. C.
Klose, of Tweedvale
and was born at Blum-
berg where he
lived for two
years before going
with his
parents, to Lobe-
thal. He re-
ceived his educa-
tion at the Lobe-
thal Public
School, and on
leaving school
entered the
general storekeeping
business of his father,
where he worked until about nine years
ago when he took a position in the
dress and silk department of Charles
Birks & Co. When living at Lothethal
Mr Klose took a great interest in the
Lobethal Harmonic Club. Mr. Klose
was a member of the Free Gardeners
Lodge. He was also a member of the
Metropolitan Rifle Club. He had re
ceived numerous trophies for shooting,
and in 1926 won Kingship honors at
the Tweedvale Kingship shooting
match, and on one occasion at the
Hahndorf shooting match. In 1923 Mr.
Klose married Doosie (Doris), the eldest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Baker, of
Broken Hill, who, with a daughter,
aged seven months, survives him.
